In other words, they just love being fashionable at all times. With a variety of attractive colors and design, we, women often forget to choose comfort first before fashion when going shopping.

Four out of five women experience toe joint pain; and one of the reasons of this is wearing uncomfortable footwears. Very tight, high heeled  or heavy shoes and sandals – these are the characteristics of fashionable yet uncomfortable footwears. The odd thing is we cannot just say “Oh, I’m not gonna wear those anymore!” – obviously because it is fashion and we love being fashionable.

What I’m gonna do is give few tips on how to lessen the toe joint pain.

  • First, do the can-in-a-sock lifting. Yes, lift a can using your toes. Put an unopened 450g can in a sock. Get a stool, and straighten your legs with the heel rested on the stool. Using your big toe and second toe grip and lift slowly the can in a sock. Do this five to twenty times. This exercise can lessen the pain.

 

  • Second, do the hot-or-cold compress. If you are experiencing swollen joint toes, apply the cold compress. On the other hand, if you are experiencing painful toes, apply the hot compress.

The above tips do not need you to go anywhere but home. Right in your kitchen, you can relieve yourself from toe joint pain.
