Symptoms and Remedies for Joint Pain
Joint pain is quite a common problem caused by injuries and ageing. Whatever the reason, it is very bothersome problem and can prevent us from achieve our day to day goals.
Joint Pain – Causes
- Rheumatoid Arthritis – an autoimmune disorder causing inflexibility/joint pain.
- Osteoarthritis – bone spurs swell & cartilage at joint gets worsened. Adults over 45 are quite prone to it.
- Bursitis – inflammation of Bursae (fluid-filled sacs padding the bone that allow muscles and tendons to move over the bone).
- Other causes may include joint injury, strain, sprain, previous injury or infections.

- Take a warm water bath regularly.
- Massage affected area using oil.
- Papaya-seed tea 6-7 time a week for 2-3 weeks.
- Fry garlic cloves in butter and eating them prevents joint pain.
- Taking turmeric powder (1/2 spoon) 3 times a day with warm water helps curing arthritis.
- Chapatti of roasted gram flour and clarified lard can be eaten.
- Make porridge using 2 spoonfuls of winter cherry, molasses and ghee and eat it first thing in morning. Try this for a minimum of two weeks.
- Bananas are best as they supply strength and nutrients to increase joint mobility.
